Cash Flow Frog integrates with Zoho Books via the Zoho Books API. The user grants Cash Flow Frog read-only permissions for fetching cash flow related data from the Zoho Books organization via a standard OAuth process. This process is initiated when the user connects the Zoho Books company to Cash Flow Frog.

Cash Flow Frog fetches and then syncs the following data from Zoho Books:

  • Accounts - Chart of accounts, bank accounts and bank balances. Used for transaction classification and cash balance.

  • Bank transactions, customer and vendor payments, expenses and journal entries - Actual cash-in and cash-out transactions.

  • Bills, invoices, sales orders, purchase orders, estimates and retainer invoices - Used for AP and AR transaction forecasting as well as for classification of customer and vendor payments.

  • Contacts - Customers and vendors. Used for cash flow breakdown as well as AP and AR forecasting.

  • Items - Used for classifying transactions based on the income and expense accounts of the item or service.

  • Locations and projects - Used for cash flow breakdown.

  • Organization - Basic information and settings.

  • Recurring bills, invoices and expenses - used for AP and AR transaction forecasting.

  • Taxes - Used for forecasting recurring bills, invoices and expenses.

Please note that Cash Flow Frog never makes any changes in Zoho Books, and that is why it only requires read permissions.
